There are row of birch trees at the single walk path between the fields, the most far way that I can reach on foot or by bicycle to bring my self outdoor or with the kids. This path has been sort of achievement of the day. And when walking through it in the summer, the soft breeze creates sound and sweet feeling from the birch’s leaves rustling one with another. Blue, green and white from this path giving moods to the illustration which framed in tapered form.

Some color and texture of the objects I found during walking in the field creates the moods here. It is about reflecting the contrast between the magenta color of the Knapweed Centaurea with the brown gold of the grain or rolled straw. I could not find other way than using a contrast between turquoise and rust orange with the supplies that I have; turquoise ink (Rohrer & Klingner) and vermilion dominant (Stylex). The wild flowers were draw separately with brush pens about 2 years after and were finally composed together using Pixelmator Pro.

A proverb “Bring Liebe in Deine Umgebung” means bring love to your environment was found from an old book during de cluttering the great grand mother’s collection room.
Swimming, swimming, swimming..
That’s the only way escaping summer heat. And when we decided not to travel, instead, staying inside the country, it means swimming in lake, not in the sea other than free pools. The nearest place from us that have several lakes is Burgenland. And one day, thinking about searching some alternative remote lake, after to often being in the big one, we found sort of secret place. A small place where people laying with music next to the lake and smell good barbecue when we arrived. Just very loose..no rush and no ticket. Even though the water a little bit muddy, but I paint them in blue using Ecoline liquid watercolor, to invite the thirsty eyes on swimming.. The reeds are the focal point of the place. I collected and observed the stones from the area and even from other lakes in the region. They reflects the same fact, gray when dry, but rust orange when wet, their true colors.
